Jack Skellington Mighty Mugg
Do you know of Mighty Muggs? [wiki]
Well, in preporation for creating a Jack Skellington MM, I planed the figure out in Adobe Illustrator, creating the Jack on the left. But come on, how realisticic is it to try and paint on all those perfect pinstripes? I decided to chanel Burton’s sketches instead when creating the Mighty Mugg, which I did in scribbles with a sharpy.
Off course, now I need to customize the box! But I couldn’t use my original design, it didn’t match the figure so I redid it (on the right).
I got to use a new tool for this one, the blend tool… the blend tool is amazing, it is my new best friend. I have a feeling that very little of what I do in Ai now will not include the blend tool…
